Summary | A Denver-born roboticist with major interests in art and science. I believe that robotics can be used to enable a safer, richer, and more easygoing quality of life for humans. My goal is to be on the forefront of that progress. |
Work

Lead Graduate Robotics Engineering Intern
Medronic
I was assigned to a graduate-level research project sponsored by Medtronic in Spring of 2022. This led to an internal position within their R&D surgical robotics group to lead the project further into funding for production. After demonstrating that the system we designed could work autonomously and would provide practitioners with better ability to treat patients, the project received continued funding. Eventually, after meeting multiple milestones, the project was the first graduate-level project in the history of Medtronic's surgical robotics R&D to go on to receive funding for production.
- Project was the first graduate-based project to be awarded funding to proceed to full production prototype.

2021.01 Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of a Semi-Autonomous, Vision-based, Modular Unmanned Ground Vehicle Prototype
Society for Imaging Science and Technology
This paper presents the development of a prototype modular unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) used for fire detection and elimination. Taking a systems engineering approach, the mechatronics and control systems designs are performed first, then the system and the important subsystems are built and tested, and finally, the evaluation results are fed back for the next prototype iteration.
